Many people will relate with this case study. I decided to put a lot of energy into creating it, because I knew how important it’d be for everyone who reads it. Jorge is a great student, a great entrepreneur, and a great person. The road he has traveled during these years is a great life lesson for everyone.
"I lived in Venezuela for 23 years. I graduated as an electrical engineer and worked in many corporations. A few years later, I was forced to make my way to the United States in order to get ahead."

It’s not about getting better at some aspect of life. It’s about “sharpening your pencil”, and maximizing your skills to the fullest. That is exactly what Jorge did from the beginning.
Not only did he become a salesman through and through. Today he is an entrepreneur. Someone who runs a robust business and is able to run it on his own.
«I worked 60 hours a week for a paycheck that was barely enough to survive on. In a toxic work environment, where there was no room for advancement. It was just working for money.»

Jorge left everything behind, to dedicate himself to his dreams. There was nothing to lose, and he left it all to dedicate himself to his partner, friends, and family.
A business that leaves us time for ourselves and our loved ones.
Bad moments = Lessons?
Jorge made a great confession to me. One of the most important things he learned at Ludus Mastery were the tools and learnings he extracted from the whole team.
Upon meeting me, Jorge signed up for our Journey to 24KThat’s what propelled him to where he is today. It’s definitely a great story of self-improvement….
- He bought his first house
- Got married and was able to provide for his family
- Traveled to different parts of the world to learn
- He had time off to spend with his family
(And one of his greatest confessions…) It propelled him to be in this place and to become the person he is today.

When we decided to put together this case study, I got to do a great interview with Jorge. I still remember when I asked him what his situation was in his home country. This is what he told me:
"I lived in a shared space where someone else decided the rules. It was impossible to get ahead, there was nothing new to do. It was either look for a new opportunity or stay stuck for years."
Opportunities don't come by themselves. They are sought.
